← me trying to look like a SoCal hipster

Hi, I'm Nick Ward. My Korean name is 강한진, or 康瀚珍. This is a picture of me.

I was born in Lausanne, Switzerland and grew up in Livermore, California.

I'm a junior (class of 2018) at UC Berkeley, studying the two best subjects in the world, Mathematics and Computer Science. I've been a TA for CS 61A, The Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, for which I've collected some tricks. I've also taught CS 70, Discrete Mathematics and Probability Theory, and now I'm teaching CS 170, Efficient Algorithms and Intractable Problems.

I'm a part of acts2fellowship, Phi Beta Kappa, and MUSA, and a former member of Computer Science Mentors.

I make a lot of projects. Some are Verses, Coin Puzzle, the Name Game, Bible Versions, and Permutations. For more random things, see my GitHub. I also have a résumé and a LinkedIn.

Last summer, I was an intern at Google Seattle, working on BigQuery. I'm back at Google this summer, in Mountain View/San Francisco, working on test infrastructure for Chrome on Android (I write tests that test tests of tests).

I like Tim Be Told a lot.

I also have a rather ferocious love of baking. Here is a collection of things that I want to bake, or have baked and want to bake again.

Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.
Isaiah 1:18
